Thanks for coming back to ClevverTV, I’m your host Dana Ward. So it’s not news that 100 Monkeys tried to get on the Twilight soundtrack and then on the New Moon soundtrack. Unfortunately, none of those worked out for the band. And in recent weeks, there’s been a ton of buzz that 100 Monkeys is attempting to get its music on the Eclipse soundtrack. Is there any truth to this? Well kinda, says one member who spoke out about it all saying that they only know what everyone else knows – basically, nothing about a possible deal – saying that they’ve played at some cast parties and that the decision-makers definitely know the music. QUOTE “There’s been no formal approach from either side concerning that. So I think at this point it’s all just sore of internet buzz.” So do you think that “third time’s a charm” for 100 Monkeys and they’ll finally get an official music feature on a Twilight Saga film? I think they should be in at least one of the movies, get a little taste of different music, possibly make a song for just the movie?

Jackson said in an interview that he’d like that but it’s just a maybe thing right now, they know as much as we know. Jackson also said it would be a band decision. As far as special treatment goes, as much as I love Jackson with all my monkey heart as far as the band goes he is an equal member and has as much say as Ben G, Ben J, Jerad and Uncle Larry. I would LOVE them to be on it ther are amazing!!

This is crazy! Why was the New Moon soundtrack out by this time with that movie but we r not getting anything from Eclipse? I get it they wanna keep it a mystery and a suprise but we don’t even have a single out on the radeo that will be on the soundtrack. The movie is due out in 3 months.

they really should be on the soundtrack though, they need to be
doesn’t matter to me and I think I heard Jackson say once in an interview that ‘It should only be in the film if the music fits with the scene/ film’ (or something like that). And I agree with him, if the music fits with what is happening in the scene then sure all power to them but Summit shouldn’t throw their music in the film it it doesn’t fit.
They suck.
