‘Twilight’ V. ‘Harry Potter’ At ‘Teen Choice Awards’

I’m your host Dana Ward and right now we’re filling ya in on the recently announced nominees for the 2011 Fox Teen Choice Awards. Well, similar to previous years, there are a ton of categories across tv, movies, music, fashion and more. But the big awards that viewers love to debate includes the uber fan followed Twilight and Harry Potter. Keep in mind that Eclipse grabbed the most nods with 12 but both of these movies will be up against each other in the Choice Movie Sci-Fi/Fantasy, with a Taylor Lautner v. Robert Pattinson v. Daniel Radcliffe matchup for Choice Movie Actor. Even Kristen Stewart and Emma Watson are going head-to-head for the Sci-fi/fantasy actress category. The Harry Potter and Twilight crews grabbed 3 nominations in the Choice Movie Liplock category and our favorite villains, played by Tom Felton and Bryce Dallas Howard got nods as well. Even Ashley Greene and Kellan Lutz got nomination names as Scene Stealers. And since we’re just putting it all out there for you fans, Robert and Taylor were included in the Choice Male Hottie category. @meyo33192 Wait… you just said before Twilight, Harry Potter wasn’t as big and then credited Twilight for it??? Ummm, the highest grossing Potter film was the first one… so yes there was a huge commotion about the movies prior to Twilight. Not to mention the huge book releases at midnight with Deathly Hallows breaking records that it still holds. Sorry but Twilight is not responsible for that. Perhaps this is why some Potter fans might be frustrated with Twilight fans.

Seriously. im 14 ive seen all the harry potters, and all the twlights. but i do have to say Harry Potter blows twlight away like no joking. they have much much better acting and it has been around much longer . they run circles around twlight. i mean come on guys let harry potter win! they deserve it! its their last movie! make an account on teen choice awards and vote for HARRY POTTER!

Harry Pooter all the way!, i was 8 years old when i started to read the series i was 9 when i watched the very first film, since then i literally begged my dad for the next books, and i always went to watch the movies.
JK Rowling inspired me to read, and Stephanie Meyer……..well when i tried reading the first 5 pages of twilight i wanted to throw the book into someone face!

Harry Potter will open with record breaking numbers, that you Twilight freaks wont be ever to break it, even when your non deserving two part “saga” ends next summer!
Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows was made into a two part film because it’s an Epic story with Epic fight scenes, and with alot of emotional plots.
Breaking dawn then needed to copy Harry Potter and split that book into two parts, what for? MONEY of course, you think Summit Entertainment split it for the fans? HELL NO, they did it to keep milking their boring ass series!
Warner Bros. split the last Harry Potter book for the Fans, so can keep true to the book and end it with a BIG BANG!!!

I am given hope from seeing that all of these comments are pro-harry potter. Harry Potter has an interesting and complex storyline whereas Twilight is just a boring girl who for some reason has two guys who love her. bleh. HARRY POTTER ALL THE WAY
